I love working with my hands and making things. Beading was where I started, but began exploring metal work by taking classes at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Inspired, I was soon creating organic sculptural jewelry based on my deep love of nature and plant forms. Each piece I make is hand forged using techniques such as chasing and repousse, fold-forming and embossing. I make all the elements of each item including clasps, using fine and sterling silver, copper and brass, but also incorporate recycled metals such as antique silver plate to add a unique twist to my contemporary designs. You will also find interesting elements such as agate slices, unpolished stones and cut gems. No two pieces are alike and all are original designs.
